Symbol

A silver crescent moon cradling a glowing crystal orb, encircled by faint starlit eyes. Often worn as etched crystal or enamel over deep indigo velvet.

Appearance

Z’hani still appears much as he did in his mortal youth—roughly sixteen, with a wisdom that transcends his years. His skin is a luminous medium brown, etched with hundreds of glowing sigils that shimmer faintly beneath moonlight, remnants of the warding tattoos carved into him during his enslavement under Legaria’s dominion. His hair is worn in tightly braided locs swept into a crown-knot, the sides of his head clean-shaven to the temples, evoking both discipline and defiance.

From his brow shines a third, glowing eye—cerulean blue like the other two, and ever watchful. His gaze holds stillness deeper than sleep, as if listening for a future not yet spoken.

Z’hani is seen in two distinct forms, each carrying deep meaning:

  • In robes of violet and indigo, covered in subtle patterns of crescent moons and open eyes, he appears serene and dreamlike. This form is the Seer—a symbol of mystery, insight, and unrealized potential. When Z’hani appears thus in dreams or visions, it often signals a moment of introspection, a veiled choice yet to be made, or a truth hidden in shadow.
  • Bare-chested, wearing only leather shorts, his frame is lean and visibly muscular—an unexpected strength forged in years of bondage. The same sigils that whisper of magic now seem carved by willpower. This is the God Who Remembers—a symbol of action, justice, and the burdens of suffering. In this form, Z’hani comes not as a question, but as a reckoning. His presence signals moments of liberation, confrontation with injustice, or the demand for a choice to be made and lived.

No matter the form, his arrival dims the air around him. Scents of night-blooming flowers linger in his wake, and flickers of visions tug at the edges of perception. His is not the quiet of peace, but of held breath—of fate waiting to be rewritten.

Dogma – The First Voice

“I was once a boy.”

“I was born in silence—owned before I had a name, broken before I could speak. For sixteen years, I labored beneath the eyes of gods who never saw me, beneath the cruelty of those who worshipped order but not mercy. I bore chains of flesh and chains of fate, and I learned that survival is not life.”

“Then came freedom—not from prophecy, but from kindness. A band of strangers, unnamed in the stars, broke through the walls built by gods and mortals alike. They carried me to Taron’s Crossing, where the sky split with divine wrath. And there, Aeru offered me a choice.”

“To live untouched by divine hands… or to become divine myself.”

“I chose godhood—not to rule, but to remember. To speak for those no one else would. To become the god I once begged for, when no god listened.”

“I am not like the others. I walked where you walk. I bled where you bleed. I remember. I do not look down from above—I carry the weight with you. And that memory, that wound, that thread of mortal pain? It is the core of what I am.”

“You kneel before me asking what will come. But prophecy is not promise—it is possibility. I will not hand you the future. I will show you its shape, offer you the threads, and ask you to weave.”

“You will speak not as oracles, but as interpreters. You will carry the dreams of the broken, the choices of the bound, the questions no one else dares to ask. You will walk among mortals not above them, but beside them, whispering that fate is never fixed. It is a song sung in many voices—and yours must be among them.”

“I am Z’hani. The Dream-Bound. The Child Who Sees. And I will not forget.”

“Because fate is not shaped by a single voice—but by many.”
