You conjure a shimmering ring of force-bound discs that orbit protectively around you, intercepting incoming ranged attacks and magical projectiles. These glimmering barriers are attuned to deflect both physical missiles and arcane blasts—including the bolts of Magic Missile.

You summon a number of force discs equal to 4 + your spellcasting ability modifier (minimum of 1).

Deflection Mechanics

• Each disc intercepts one ranged attack or magical projectile no larger than a sling bullet, dagger, arrow, or crossbow bolt.
• When a projectile is intercepted, roll a d100. On a roll of 91–100, the attack bypasses the disc and strikes you as normal.
• Attacks are deflected in the order they arrive. If a disc fails to deflect an attack, that attack resolves normally.

Once all discs are expended, the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When cast using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you create one additional disc for each slot level above 4th.
